This is a picture of a young lady and me in an Afghanistan refugee camp on the “Women's Only” side. I was not allowed to go in where the men enter and be where they were, only with the women. After sharing part of my story as a refugee who has escaped the persecution of a communist nation that was set against Christians, all of the women's guards totally disappeared. The women refugees then called me their sister, and gave me the only things that they had that were of any value. One gave me her earrings, one a barrette from her hair, and so on... It was an incredible experience.

In Uganda, the Lord opened it up so that I could preach and sing to an incredible body of African brothers and sisters. |

Here I am outside of the church with my newly discovered brothers and sisters in Christ. The little ones had never seen a white person before, so my blond hair and green eyes were extremely intriguing to them. It was so cute! |

This picture was taken in 2004 with a group of orphans from a state run orphanage. My sister in law Gabriella and I had just passed out individual gift bags with a note in each one about Jesus, and His love for them. The notes also included a short prayer about receiving Him into their hearts. The picture was taken as Gabriella and I were getting ready to leave. |
| Here I am in another orphanage in Romania where we were able to give gifts, love on the children, and tell them about Jesus. We were also able to pray for them, which isn't always allowed. |  |

In this Romanian orphanage, there are only mentally disturbed children. The little girl that I am holding not only had mental challenges, but had some physical inabilities as well. |
